In last month’s post Face Shape <\/a>we introduced the different types of face shape and how to figure out which you had. As I was browsing through Self magazine April edition in a feature about tips for your hair, included was some hair accessories and how to wear them. How perfect that they broke it down by face shape. Unfortunately I couldn’t find an online version of the feature but here it is broken down.<\/span><\/p>\n

For a Long Face – styling goal: to create width in your face. Suggested accessory: a skinny headband. (wear it in the center of your head)<\/span><\/p>\n

For a Heart shaped face – styling goal: to balance out a more prominent chin. Suggested accessory: a feminine floral bobby pin or barrette. (wear it just above and behind your ear)<\/span><\/p>\n

For an Oval face – styling goal: Lucky, this shape goes with any style. Suggested accessory: a festive comb or clip. (wear it with your hair pulled back and as if it’s coming our of your hair)<\/span><\/p>\n

For a round face – styling goal: create the illusion of length by adding more volume to your crown. Suggested accessory: a wide, teeth-free headband (wear it by sliding headband from your hairline to the center of your head; hair can be up or down)<\/span><\/p>\n
